Looking for actors and writers fluent in an Asian language for “Live/Work”, a new project inspired by Jim Jarmusch’s Coffee and Cigarettes and Night on Earth. This feature film will be a series of vignettes exploring the fringe lives of the residents of a downtown Live/Work Loft. Each vignette will feature the work of a premier upcoming or established Canadian Writer/Director lasting 8 to 12 minutes in length. They can be in the Genre of Romance, Comedy, Drama or Crime and will feature a resident of the Loft.
The stories should expose a non-traditional economic lifestyle with honesty and realism. It can include any culture or for that matter perhaps a non-English subtitled cultural piece.
In order to maintain a consistent look connecting each story, the film will be shot using the same basic camera and lighting system with a single Director of Photography, Editor and Supervising Director.

- Timing / Deadline – ASAP for writing; shooting schedule is very flexible
- Must be experienced
- Requirement: Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin or Korean or Vietnamese
