Director Tiffany Hsiung is raising funds to support her newest project – a feature length doc called Within Every Woman. This film that explores the forgotten history of Comfort Women, a term used to describe over 200,000 girls who were forced into sexual slavery during World War II in Asia. Not only is there urgency because there are only 7 days left in her kickstarter fundraising campaign, there are literally only a few survivors remaining who can share their stories and experiences. So please pledge $1, $5, $500 or more and encourage your friends to do the same. Support Within Every Woman here. Read indieWIRE’s article about the project here. Reel Asian screened Tiffany’s film Binding Borders in 2007.
