The Toronto presentation of the worldwide Bicycle Film Festival includes several films from or co-produced by Japan, where cycling culture (particularly the emerging Japanese cyclocross scene) is being documented on film and digital video.
The Toronto portion of the festival kicks off on Wednesday, August 18 with two nights of parties and live acts; the films start on Friday and go through the weekend at The Royal (608 College St W) and Cinecycle (in the coach house behind 401 Richmond St W – access via the alley next to 129 Spadina Ave).
