Call for Submissions: TIFF Wavelengths, TIFF Talent Lab 2013

Apichatpong Weerasethakul's "Mekong Hotel" (TIFF Wavelengths programme 2013)

The Toronto International Film Festival is seeking submissions for its Wavelengths programme, now in its 13th year. Named for Michael Snow’s landmark 1967 film “Wavelength”, the festival’s avant-garde showcase is a unique forum for international film and video art hosted within the context of one of the world’s largest and busiest public film festivals. Prizing formal innovation and original expression, Wavelengths offers a thoughtfully curated selection of artist-made film and video presented in the cinema. Newly expanded as of last year’s edition, Wavelengths now runs for the duration of the Festival (September 5-15, 2013), with its core shorts programmes taking place during opening weekend

There is no official submission process for Wavelengths, no forms to fill out and no entry fee. However, please be sure to include a detailed description of the work, its title, year and country of production, runtime(s), final exhibition format, as well as the artist’s name and contact information.

All DVD previews should be received by May 24, 2013 and sent directly to:
