Details:

Ichimokukai (“first Thursday meeting”) has been the Canada Japan Society of Toronto’s monthly social event since 1995, and it is a great place to make new friends, practice your English and/or Japanese, informally network, learn more about life in Canada and Japan, and most of all have fun! Our attendees are usually around 50 percent Canadian and 50 percent Japanese, all with a common interest or connection with Japan. At IMK you will receive special food and drink discounts, get to talk to lots of interesting people, and have the chance to win some exciting door prizes.

This week will be the Nimokukai as it’s the second Thursday of the month (instead of first).

When: Thursday, January 10, 6:00pm-10:00pm
Where: Manpuku (105 McCaul St, Units 29-31, in Village by the Grange)

$5 cover charge for non-CJS members. Discounts available for groups of 3 or more people. More info at www.cjst.ca.

The CJS (Canada Japan Society of Toronto) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing understanding of Canada, Japan, and Canada-Japan relations.

  1. I am doing a school project on publicity, PR and Social Media promotional use in Independent Films and short films and this would help me very much! Thank you. If anyone is looking for interns to work at the Film festival…please help me.
