The Toronto Silent Film Festival screens silent films with live musical accompaniment, hearkening back to the earliest cinematic tradition.  On Friday, April 5 at 7:30pm, the festival will show Tokyo Chorus, one of the finest surviving silents by Japanese legend Yasujiro Ozu, with musical interpretation by Laura Silberberg. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here. Japanese film commentator Chris MaGee will introduce the film.
