Innis College and the Cinema Studies Institute presents a screening of Midnight’s Children followed by a Q&A with director Deepa Mehta at Innis Town Hall

Midnight’s Children, directed by award-winning Canadian filmmaker Dr. Deepa Mehta, is an adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s Booker Prize–winning novel. The film explores India’s transition from British colonialism to independence. Midnight’s Children previously premiered at TIFF 2012 as a Gala Presentation
