The Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival is a volunteer-run not-for-profit initiative that works to bring a series of events for local young and emerging filmmakers in the Greater Toronto Area to showcase their talent and creations to an audience of independent film lovers. Founded by former Reel Asian staff member, Henry Wong, the Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival will celebrate its 5th edition this year!

Eye of the Beholder – 3:00pm
From a smiling dinosaur to a talking canine, these films present the world from an array of unique perspectives.
Tensions – 4:00pm
The difficulties of finding a job, making connections with that special someone, and trying to survive a Godzilla attack forces all the cards to be laid out and dealt with.
At Odds With Our Surroundings – 5:30pm
Though we usually discuss the impact of a human footprint on the world around us, this collection of shorts show us how our surroundings drive and shape us.
Questionable Content – 7:00pm
An exploration of the strange, the absurd, and the playfully lewd, the content might me questionable but the substance, imagination, and sidesplitting laughter is certain.
Stages of Life – 8:30pm
From heartfelt histories to hopeful dreams, dive into the idiosyncrasies of change and growth, the dilemmas they present and the opportunities that can come.
