CMG: Toronto Pride Week LGBT Short Film FestivalThe Canadian Media Guild‘s LGBT Short Film Festival screens continuously during Toronto Pride Week and two of the selections have connections to Reel Asian!

Dawn is a 10-minute piece from NY-based actor/director Leon Le, last seen on Reel Asian’s screens in the cast of Pearls of the Far East, which sold out its world premiere at our 2011 festival.

Vancouver filmmaker Jason Karman, whose State of Yo screened at Reel Asian in 2008, has his film I’m In The Mood For Love included in the selection.  Karman was a finalist at our So You Think You Can Pitch? competition in 2011.

The programme consists of twelve shorts, total run time 1h46m.  The programme runs on a continuous loop in the Graham Spry Theatre (in the lobby of the CBC Broadcast Centre) from 9am to 9pm weekdays and noon to 5pm on Saturday. Admission is free!
