TIFF Kids International Film Festival starts next week on Tuesday April 9. This is a great event for us to spend some time with the little ones in our lives and to also bring out our inner big kids. The programme is a wonderful mix of entertaining, engaging and heartwarming. What a great way for film lovers to introduce kids into our world! Indeed, they are “Films to Fill the Imagination”

Movie-ing and munching in Hong Kong

Last week I attended the Hong Kong International Film Festival and Hong Kong International Film & TV Market for the first time.  Not only did I get a chance to watch a multitude of fantastic films (including RA filmmakers Arvin Chen’s Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Luo Li’s Emperor Visits the Hell and Huang Ji’s Trace), I also got the chance to meet new distributors, put some faces to names of people we’ve been working with from across the globe and hang out with like-minded folk working at other film festivals. Call for Youth Filmmakers for EAST Documentary Collective

EAST is calling for youth between the ages of 15 to 19 who are interested in videography for the EAST Documentary Collective!

Presented by Scarborough Arts, EAST is a project creating a buzz and attracting attention from aspiring young musicians, new media journalists and youth interested in getting into the arts and entertainment industry. EAST is made up of three components: Project Management Collective, Music Collective and Documentary Collective.
