The OFF SCREEN (installation + performance + online/new media projects) submission deadline for the 2012 festival is 1 August 2011.

Call for Submissions: POV Youth Filmmaking Program 2011
We are gearing up once again to run our Filmmaking Program. Over the course of four months, you will learn the technical and business skills of film production. As part of a small crew, you will help write, direct and shoot your own movie. You will get to meet and learn from a variety of professionals currently working in the industry.

ELIGIBILITY
- POV serves at-risk youth. You must identify with this description and be
able to briefly explain why.
- You must be 19-24 years old on October 1, 2011.
- You will need to be available on Saturdays and some weekends from October to January.
- You must currently be living in Toronto and be able to work in Canada.

Call for Submissions: The 8 Fest 2012

The 8 fest seeks your 8mm, Super-8, 9.5mm or other small gauge film projects (such as loops and installations) for our 2012 installment next January.

The 8 fest exhibits all work on film. Works selected for the festival, therefore, must be finished on small-gauge film (8mm, Super-8, 9.5mm). We also exhibit blow-ups to 16mm. of films that have been finished on small-gauge (or unsplit 8mm pieces). We do not exhibit projects on video or digital.
