Richard Fung is a Toronto-based, Trinidadian-raised video artist and educator, whose work has already earned him the Bell Canada Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2001. From his earliest piece, Orientations: Lesbian and Gay Asians (1986), to Rex vs. Singh (2008), Fung’s work on place and history, sexuality and pop culture, family and diasporas, is pioneering.
